Recordings of demented radio amateurs from
repeaters in the UK.
One
interesting thing to note here, you might
instantly spot who you think is the abuser, but
notice how no one in any clip is operating in
accordance with their licence conditions. No
call signs, general calls that are not initial
CQ calls, replying to stations operating without
the benefit of a 'licence issued on behalf of
The Secretary Of State', etc.
Here
is a good example, this dozy old wassock has summoned
together what little brain power he has left to
ascertain that the other character has no licence, he
then contravenes his own licence conditions by directing
remarks to an unlicensed station! We imagine he has no idea what he has done wrong!
This proves that you should
never challenge someone to a battle of wits when you are only
half prepared!
This page wouldn't exist without your
kind help, thanks to
all involved. If you have anything you want to see here, just
email recordings to
LPWS. The more the merrier!
Pirate
Radio Essex was a special station the BBC had up and running for the
40th anniversary of the Pirate Radio broadcasters, not sure if it was 40
years from starting or 40 years from them being hounded off the air by the
DTI though.
Here is a genuine recording of a
"squeaky" taking over the radio link to the transmitter. Details
